Celtic star, Efe Ambrose has stated that the Super Eagles need prayers to beat the Red Devils of Congo in Calabar.
The Brazil 2014 World Cup star who was conscious in his response said prayers play a huge role in football that is the only weapon to silence their opponents.
“I believe our opponents play good football and they have been very trickish in their approach to this game. So, I’m calling on Nigerians to remember us in their prayers because that is what we need now to tame these ‘Devils’.
“We have had wonderful training sessions here but results are achievable with prayers. But we must all pray after working hard for this mountain to move and it will move,” Ambrose stated.
