The Transmission Company of Nigeria System Operations said power generation was experiencing a drop to an average of 3,755MW.
This was contained a statement signed on Wednesday by Clement Ezeolisah, the Assistant General Manager (Public Affairs) of TCN, and sent to the News Agency of Nigeria in Abuja.
According to the statement, the drop in generation is due to last week’s scheduled maintenance on the pipelines supplying gas to the generating stations.
The statement also stated that power generation had started to improve and was now over 4,200MW on daily average.
