The planned recall of the President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, on Monday gathered momentum in Ilorin as posters to that effect surfaced in the state capital.
The threat to recall Saraki is being championed by a group, Kwara must change.
Although the group is yet to issue a statement on the planned recall of Saraki, the posters are seen as the beginning of the process.
The group accused Saraki of turning the state into his personal estate.
The anti-Saraki posters surfaced a few hours after the Federal High Court in Abuja ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission to proceed with the recall process of one of the Senate President’s allies, Senator Dino Melaye.
Melaye is representing Kogi West Senatorial District.
