The Nigerian office of the Association of Political Consultants-Africa has concluded arrangements to stage a review of the recent elections that held in Lagos State, Osun State, United Kingdom and the process of recall of a member of the Senate, Dino Melaye.
The programme, holding on Sunday at the Best Western Starfire Hotel, GRA Ikeja, is part of the regular political consultants engagements after its second continental conference, which held in April this year in Lagos.
A statement by the association, which was signed by the Programme Officer, listed Senator Tokunbo Afikuyomi, a representative of the campaign team of the Senator Ademola Adeleke; Olumide Lawal; Dr. Aderemi of Lagos State University; and Semiu Okanlawon as some of the speakers at the review event.
Last week, Lagos State held elections into the the 57 Local Government Areas and Local Council Development Areas.
According to the organisation, the forum is to provide politicians and political consultants forum to rob minds with a view to determining how elections were lost and won and the lessons derivable from them.
The statement by the organization reads as follows: “This is to remind you of our meeting and discourse scheduled to hold this Sunday 30th July 2017, at Best Western Starfire Hotel, Plot 128, Joel Ogunnaike street, GRA, Ikeja Lagos State. Time: 4pm.”
