The Police Command in Enugu State has urged parents and guardians to guard against the abduction and steealing of their children and wards by unscrupolous elements.
The state’s Police Public Relations Officer, SP Ebere Amaraizu, gave the warning in a statement on Thursday in Enugu.

Amaraizu also advised parents to avoid falling for the antics of mischief-makers who entice children from schools, churches and other public gatherings.
He said: “The command further advises members of the public to report promptly about any suspicious movement around their environment or schools to the state police command.
“The residents should get in contact with the police through the following distress call numbers of the state command, which includes 08032003702, 08075390883, 08086671202 and 08098880172.
