Police confirm killing of 35 in Zamfara by bandits

The Zamfara State Police Command has confirmed the killing of 35 people in five communities of Faru District in Maradun Local Government Area of Zamfara State

The spokesman of the Command, SP Mohammed Shehu, confirmed the development on Friday.

Shehu said: “About 35 people were killed but normalcy has been restored following the deployment of security personnel to the affected communities.”

The deceased have been buried according to Islamic injunctions on Friday.
