The Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Department of Operations, DIG Abdulmajid Ali, has advised hip hop artist, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, to be a good model to the youths and his fans across the globe.
The police boss admonished the young talented star during his visit to the office of the DIG Operations, Police Force Headquarters, Garki, Abuja after Naira Marley’s arraignment by the FCT authority for violating COVID-19 rules on Friday.
Naira Marley was advised by Ali to turn around his fame and large number of fans and followers to boosting national development, impacting good and educative ideas on the youths and the entire populace, who will in turn be helpful in all ramifications through promotion of moral values.
The police boss also admonished him to respect constituted authorities in the country considering the nature of his profession and fame across the country and the world in general.
In his response, Naira Marley assured the Nigeria Police of being a good example to all and sundry, and assist in evangelising community policing concept in order to have better protection of lives and property of Nigerians.
