The police on Thursday arraigned Rebecca Olatunji, 42, and Sabena Ugwuokembah, 49, in a Karmo Grade I Area Court in Abuja, for allegedly bathing each other with human excreta.
The two women, who reside at old Karmo area of Abuja, are charged with disturbing the peace and constituting public nuisance.
The Police Prosecutor, Zannan Dalhatu, told the court that the Olatunji, reported the matter at the Karmo Police Station on March 9.
According to Dalhatu, Olatunji said that Ugwuokembah, her neigbour, poured human excreta on her and on her window.
The prosecutor said that after police investigation, it was discovered that the two women engaged in a fight and they poured human excreta on each other.
Dalhatu said that the offence contravened Section 198 of the Penal Code.
The defendants pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The judge, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq, granted the accused bail in the sum of N10, 000 bail with one surety each in like sum.
Sadiq adjourned the case until April 25, for hearing.
