The Plateau State chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria has elected new executive members to run the affairs of the association in the next three years.
Thadeous Yilmen of Plateau Radio Television Cooperation, who has served in the previous executive as Chairman, was returned unopposed alongside other members of the executive.
Yilmen was elected in 2013 after defeating Ibrahim Lot of the Nigerian Standard to claim the victory and has contributed to the growth of SWAN in the state.
In the fresh election, Agabus Pwanagba of Authority newspaper retained his seat as the Secretary, Dorcas Gonne of Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria as Treasurer and Andre Dennis Bisyit of the Nigerian Standard Newspaper as Assistant Secretary.
