The Southern Governors Forum has decided to take the battle on the passage of Electoral Reform and Petroleum Industrial Bill to the National Assembly as lawmakers are scheduled to meet with the Governors on Tuesday (today) in Abuja.
The meeting was announced on the floor of the Senate by the Senate President, Senator Ahmad Lawan.
The meeting will hold at Transcorp Hotel inside Osun Hall around 7pm on Tuesday.
The meeting will address the issue of electronic transfer of result in the Electoral Act, passage of 3 per cent of operating surplus for the Host Communities in the Petroleum Industrial Bill and the 30 per cent for oil exploration in the country.
The meeting is coming 24 hours after the Southern Governors Forum met in Lagos State.
