The troops fighting the Boko Haram insurgency in Dikwa, Borno State on Monday joined other Muslim faithful the world over to mark the Eid-el-Fitr.
The occasion marked the end of the 30-day Ramadan fasting.
According to the spokesman of the Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Sani Usman, the celebration was observed in an atmosphere of peace and conviviality by the troops operating under the command of Operation Lafiya Dole.
