The new Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Dr. Gani Adams, was on Saturday installed by the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III.
The installation was preceded by three days of seclusion to prepare the new Generalissimo for the office.
In attendance at the installation on Saturday were the Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi; former Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan; former Ondo State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, among several other dignitaries.
