The Minority Caucus in the House of Representatives says it is not aware of, nor did any of its members partake in any meeting on the leadership crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), contrary to reports that such a meeting held virtually involving the PDP caucus in the House.
“If such a meeting was held, it was without the knowledge of the leadership of the Minority Caucus, and therefore in breach of established procedure,” said a statement on Monday by the Minority Leader and Leader of PDP in theHouse of Representatives, Hon. Ndudi Elumelu.
But Elumelu said the caucus is currently working in concert with organs of the party to ensure sustainable resolution of the current challenges.
“We appeal to all party faithful, particularly PDP members in the House of Representatives, to exercise caution and patience as the party addresses the present leadership challenges,” he said.
