Ahead of taking up the role of opposition, President Goodluck Jonathan Wednesday night met with members of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party to resolve the crisis that has engulfed the party in the aftermath of the 2015 general elections.
The meeting attended by PDP National Women leader, Kema Chikwe and National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh and others was held at the President’s office.
The National Chairman, Adamu Mu’azu was however absent as he is still receiving medical attention abroad.
The Eagle Online recalls that some PDP governors and party chieftains have been calling on the chairman, Mu’azu and NWC members to resign for leading the party to monumental loss at the general elections.
