The Peoples Democratic Party has recognised the faction of the party in Rivers State loyal to Governor Siminalayi Fubara following a court verdict.
The party made this position known in a statement on Thursday signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba.
It said the Hon. Nname Robinson Ewor’s faction was the legitimate state executive of the party in Rivers State.
The position of the party was made public after the verdict of the Rivers State High Court that nullified its Ward, Local Government, and State Congresses held on July 27, August 10, and August 31, 2024 respectively.
