Delivering judgment, Magistrates Ghazali Adam and Hyacinth Dolnaan, sentenced Stephen following a guilty plea.

The panel sentenced Stephen without an option of fine.

Earlier, the Prosecution Counsel, Insp Monday Dabit told the court that the complainant, Joseph Onoja of Zarmaganda  street Jos, reported  the matter at the Anglo-Jos Police station on June 13 .

The prosecutor told the court that the defendant snatched the itel phone from Onoja and ran away with it.
