The Oyo State House of Assembly has suspended the Chairman of Saki East Local Government Area, Mr. Emmanuel Adedokun, over allegations of gross misconduct.
The suspension, which takes immediate effect, was announced during the Assembly’s plenary on Tuesday following a petition submitted by 11 members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Saki East.
The petitioners accused Adedokun of repeatedly disregarding directives from Governor Seyi Makinde since assuming office.
