The President of the Music Advertisement Association of Nigeria, Alhaji Waheed Oyediran, who is also the owner and chairman of Mosebolatan Music Centre, has broken the silence after controversial Fuji artiste, Saheed Osupa, attacked him verbally.
The self acclaimed King of Fuji music reportedly used abusive words while expressing his grievances towards the perceived misconduct of Oyediran.
In his reaction, Oyediran called Osupa an ingrate, who is misguided.
According to the notable marketer: “I ve known Saheed Okunola Osupa for up two decades in Safejo Amukoko area of Lagos State.
“I can say it boldly that he is an artiste that I cherished, trained, helped, supported and promoted to get to the limelight when the going was rough and tough for him.
“Our Creator can testify to this.
“I used to give him a machine recorder for his live shows before Tempo Recording took over and later died without any benefit and encouragement from Osupa.
“Besides, Osupa in his life didn’t engage in any free show for my company.
“If today he could say negative things about me, lambast me, satirise me, it’s not a surprise because he has done so to his marketers, family members, fans, friends and his fellow musicians for a tiff of aggression, false allegations, fabrication in order to satisfy his wrong decision and determination.
“If that is what I deserve, let him continue.”
Oyediran said further that the association does not discriminate or take bribe.
He said the association is for peace, progress, success and prosperity.
He added: “If Osupa is ready for peace, we are ready.
“If otherwise, we do not mind.
“Actions shall be judged in accordance with intention because we stood by him at all stages.
“From nothing to something, from nobody to somebody, from poverty to plenty, from grass to grace and from ill-health to wealth.”
