The final of the maiden edition of the Osun U-20 Talent Hunt will hold on Tuesday at the Sports Complex of the Federal Polytechnic, Ede.
Former Super Eagles Coach, Clemence Westerhof, and FIFA Agent, Harald Wilhelm of International Top Sports Management, Holland, have both been hunting for exceptional players in the state for over a week now, from which 24 exceptional players will be selected and trained by Westerhof for playing tour abroad.
Westerhof said on Monday: “Talents are in this state with what I have seen in the the preliminary and semi-finals matches I watched.
“I have picked 18 players, whom I believe are the best so far and all things being equal most of the players in a few years to come will be integral members of the senior national team.”
The final will be decided between Osun State Festival Team and Sam D’Or Football Club of Oshogbo.
Osun State Festival Team defeated Broncos 3-0 in the semi finals while Sam D’Or defeated Rombay Bombers Football Club of Ede 2-1 in the second finals.
