The Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, has directed the newly appointed chairmen of the National Pension Commission, Code of Conduct Bureau, and the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission to resume duty.
Bolaji Adebiyi, the Permanent Secretary and Director Press Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, made this known in a statement on Friday in Abuja.
Adebiyi said the appointees are directed to resume duties in acting capacities pending their confirmation by the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
He said that the appointment was to ensure that there was no vacuum in certain important Federal Institutions.
The institutions and appointees affected are: National Pension Commission, Alhaji Ali Usman Ahmed as Acting Chairman, Funso Doherty as Acting Director-General and Manasseh T. Denga- as Acting Executive Commissioner.
Others are: Abubakar Z. Magawata as Acting Executive Commissioner, Ben Oviosun asActing Executive Commissioner and Nyerere Anyim as Acting Executive Commissioner.
For the Code of Conduct Bureau, Dr. Muhamma Isah as Acting Chairman, Murtala Kankia as Acting Member and Emmanuel E. Attah as Acting Member
Others for the CCB as Acting Members are Danjuma Sado Ubolo I. Okpanachi, Ken Madaki Alkali, Prof. S. F. Ogundare, Hon. Ganiyu Hamzat, Saad A. Abubakar, and Dr. Vincent Nwanli.
At the ICPC, Prof. Bolaji Owasanoye will resume as Acting Chairman.
