Super Eagles’ striker, Victor Osimhen, and Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham scored their first-ever UEFA Champions League goals in Wednesday night’s duel in France.
Abraham grabbed the opener in the 22nd minutes, while Osimhen levelled score with a header 10 minutes later.
Willian’s second half screamer in the 78th minute gave victory to the former champions.
Osimhen almost saved the day for the hosts but the Nigerian was denied by Chelsea goalkeeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Chelsea have now redeemed her image having lost by a lone goal to Valencia on the Day 1 of the competition.
The English giant currently maintain the second spot in Group H, while Osimhen is yet to inspire Lille to victory.
They are languishing at the bottom of the log with no points from two games.
Both Osimhen and Abraham have scored seven goals each in all competitions this season.
