Oshiomhole appoints Osunde to head Petroleum Monitoring Committee

Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State has approved the appointment of Lord Amen Osunde as the Chairman of the Petroleum Monitoring Committee.
In a letter signed by Alhaji Momodu Abu, the Permanent Secretary on behalf of the Secretary to the State Government, Osunde’s appointment takes immediate effect.
It would be recalled that the Governor had earlier in the week terminated the appointment of Soni Idahagbon as Chairman of the Committee for negligence and dereliction of duty.
Other members of the Committee were also suspended and will undergo a screening before they are considered for re-engagement.
