The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, and the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, on Tuesday visited the Presidential Villa, Abuja, where they met with both President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
Both men visited at different times.
While Oba Ogunwusi arrived at the Villa at about 1:10pm, Adeboye visited much earlier.
The Ooni was still locked in a meeting with President Buhari as at the time of filing this report.
Adeboye arrived with Osinbajo at about 12.30pm.
The meeting, described as a private one, lasted about 20 minutes.
Adeboye, however, did not grant the request of State House correspondents for an interview.
When approached for an interview, he simply said: “God bless you.”
