The Eagle Online has exclusively gathered that SS Lazio midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi, actually missed the Super Eagles final training session in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, despite the player’s denial.
The player, according to our source, left Lagos at about 6:50pm by air and landed in Uyo at 9pm, after a brief stopover in Port Harcourt by a Discovery Air flight.
To many people’s surprise, the late comer into the Super Eagles camp was considered fit for 90 minutes against South Africa.
It was further learnt that Onazi opted to seek for spiritual help from his father in the Lord, Pastor T.B. Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations.
Shockingly, the player denied missing the final training session as it was widely report.
Gombe United’s Chigozie Agbim also missed the final training session at the Akwa Ibom International Stadium in Uyo on the eve of the tie against South Africa.
