Ace media practitioner and filmmaker of international repute, Comrade Alex Eyengho, has been unanimously picked as the Spokesman of the Ologbotsere Descendants of Warri Kingdom in Delta State, just as Jemine Amorighoye was confirmed as the Assistant Secretary of the body.
This took place at a well-attended meeting of the body in Warri on June 9, 2021 and presided over by the Ologbotsere of Warri Kingdom, Chief Ayirimi Emami.
Responding to his choice as the mouthpiece of the Ologbotsere Descendants worldwide, Comrade Eyengho, who is also the Publisher of the fearless WARRI MIRROR magazine, said it is a call to service, which he promised to be “unrepentantly committed to.”
He said: :I thank the family for deeming me fit and proper for the position.
“I shall do everything within my power and professional competences to render selfless service to the family and perform my duties without fear or favour.
“My focus shall be to communicate effectively internally and externally with a view to protecting, promoting and projecting the interest of the family both nationally and internationally.
“Any and all forms of misinformation about the Ologbotsere Descendants shall be attended to by me in consultations with elders and leaders in the family.
“I shall deploy my professional training and competences in media and communication in discharging my duties.”
Eyengho holds MSc in Media and Communication from Pan-African University (now Pan-Atlantic University), Lagos; MBA from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom; HND in Mass Communication from the Federal Polytechnic, Oko among several other certificates in journalism and filmmaking from Nigeria, Europe and America.
He is well-traveled both locally and internationally, where he has been to virtually all continents of the world, mostly for industry-related events.
