Recuperating Super Eagles’ handler, Sunday Oliseh, arrived the country on Sunday ahead of Nigeria’s World Cup qualifying tie against Swaziland.
On arrival, the coach moved straight to the team’s camp at Bolton White Hotel and Apartment in Abuja, where he was awaiting the home-based players and their foreign based counterparts.
Super Eagles’ media officer, Toyin Ibitoye, hinted that only four players have arrived camp as at press time on Sunday night.
The players, according to Ibitoye are Wolvehampton Wanderers of England goalkeeper, Carl Ikeme; Portugal-based Dele Alampasu; Ikechukwu Ezenwa; and Austin Oboroakpo.
Ibitoye added that Oliseh is back on his feet and raring to guide the Eagles to victory over Swaziland.
The Super Eagles are expected to jet out on Thursday to Swaziland for the first leg second round of the 2018 World Cup qualifier.
Swaziland had beaten Djibouti over two legs in the first round to progress this stage, while Nigeria, being one of the top-seeded teams, drew bye.
