Chelsea full-back, Ola Aina, is to join Torino on a permanent deal after the Serie A side took up the option to secure him for £8.7 million.
The defender started 22 games last season and made 30 total appearances, impressing enough to secure a move.
The Blues included the option for Torino to buy Aina last summer, but their impending transfer ban meant they may have been reluctant to lose him.
The Nigeria international is among a group of players on loan that the Blues have been keeping tabs on.
But it seems they have no choice now that Torino’s President, Urbano Cairo, has declared that the deal is done.
He told Sky Italia: “We exercised our option to buy Aina as well as [Christian] Ansaldi and [Koffi] Djidji. Now, Torino own all their players.”
