Renowned and multiple award winning music producer, OJB Jezreel, has teamed up with The Bowtie Club with support from some well-meaning institutions to launch a Kidney Trust Fund.
This is with the sole aim of galvanising funds towards assisting those suffering from kidney problem to get treatment abroad.
The fund aims at raising over N200 million monthly solely for the purpose of providing medical succour to as many Nigerians who are suffering from this disease as possible.
This is about the first time that a group is finding a nexus among investment banking, celebrity and charity individuals and organisations in intervening and seeking solution to both social and medical issues.
The fund, according sources, will run on a structural tripod.
First City Monument Bank will serve as the collection bank.
CSL Trustees Limited will serve as the Trustees Firm.
It will have full custody of the funds and rights of disbursement directly to the partner Hospital in India, Vikram Hospital.
OJB Foundation would provide the patients from its list of patients which grows astronomically almost on a daily basis as a result of their periodic kidney health clinic it conducts.
