Super Eagles’ midfielder, John Ogu, grabbed an important goal for Academica Coimbra FC in their 1-0 victory over Victoria Setubal in a Portuguese League tie on Sunday.
The lanky attacking midfielder put the icing on the cake for Academica on 78th minute of the encounter to improve his team standing on the log.
Ogu, who is just back from injury, came on as a 46th minute substitute.
Ogu’s compatriot and Victoria Setubal star, Terna Suswan, was not listed for action.
It will be recalled that Ogu, who joined Académica de Coimbra in 2012 on a free transfer, made a second half substitute for the Super Eagles in a World Cup qualifying tie against the Harambee Stars of Kenya in Calabar, Cross River State.
