Nigerian-Italian defender, Angelo Ogbonna, says he is still getting to grips with the tactical demands of Juventus boss, Antonio Conte.
The signing from Torino has been used in the centre of a back-three so far this season and was again selected for the penalty shootout loss to Everton.
“I’m still not fully at my best,” the 25-year-old, who is more accustomed to playing in a back-four, commented from San Francisco.
“Physically speaking, things will only improve as the days go by. The same also applies from a tactical point of view.
“I still need to fully get to grips with the systems, because they’re new concepts as far as I’m concerned. But I’m following both the advice of my Coach and teammates.”
