Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo of Kogi State has appointed the former Chairman of Kogi Hotels and Tourism Board, Prince Philip Orebiyi, as the General Manager of the board.
In a slight but strategic reshuffle, Governor Ododo also elevated the former GM, Bilkisu Ogueyi, as the new Board Chairman.
The Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Folashade Ayoade, disclosed this in a statement issued in Lokoja and made available to newsmen on Monday.
Ayoade stated that the reshuffle was in line with the governor’s commitment to repositioning hotels and tourism sector in the state.

He also announced the appointment of Dr. Bashir Tenuche as the Director General, Kogi State Information Communication Technology Development Agency.
“The governor congratulated the appointees on their new assignment and urged them to bring their wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of their duties,” the statement added.
