The presidential candidate of the Labour Party for the ongoing general election in Nigeria, Peter Obi, has defeated his two main rivals: Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, in the nine polling unites inside and around the seat of power in Abuja, Aso Rock.
The Presidential Villa, also known as Aso Rock, is under APC’s watch, with President Muhammadu Buhari in charge.
However, like in past elections, the bulk of those who operate in the Villa are in their various states voting.
In past elections, the PDP had dominated the area.
But for the ongoing elections, Obi took the lead, while Tinubu and Abubakar are second and third respectively.
