There was a mild drama in the forecourt of the Senate on Wednesday shortly after a former Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, was given the nod to return to the Federal Executive Council.
A man, believed to be a supporter of Obanikoro, dressed in black suit, harassed Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the wife of a former Governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The APC, to which Tinubu belongs, opposed the screening and clearance of Obanikoro.
After Tinubu, in company with her colleagues, staged a walkout from the Senate chamber over the position of the Senate on Obanikoro, the man dressed in black suit walked up to the APC senator in a rude manner to demand he be greeted by force.
The request had a tone of sarcasm.
The more Tinubu resisted, the more the man forced himself on her.
But other senators, who were infuriated by development, ensured the man was thrown out of the vicinity of the Chamber.
