“I found it necessary to come and specially thank you for finding us worthy partners in the task of fighting insurgency in our region and the country.

“We must commend the Nigerian military for the success stories so far achieved in the war against insurgency in spite of the numerous challenges.”

Responding, Biu extolled the bravery and courage of Aisha Bakari in the counter insurgency operations.

Biu said: “I want to assure us all that, the Nigerian Army will do all it can in ensuring that it bequeaths to the unborn generations of Nigerians a very peaceful and harmonious nation they would be proud of.
