The Secretary of the All Progressives Congress National Convention Committee, Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, has said the party was not planning to postpone its National Convention scheduled to hold on June 23, 2018.
Ndoma-Egba stated this while reacting to a media report suggesting that the APC might postpone the date of the convention due to some problems relating to time, level of preparation and paucity of funds.
He said: “Preparation is on top gear for the convention.
“There is no such plan to postpone the convention.
“We are not planning to postpone the convention.
“It will hold as scheduled.”
According to the APC chieftain, the committee is working assiduously to ensure a huge success of the exercise which will take place in Abuja.
Ndoma-Egba, who is the Chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission, was appointed secretary of convention committee about two weeks ago after the resignation of the former Secretary, Senator Benjamin Uwajimogu.
