Strict Mexican referee, Cesar Ramos, has been appointed as the centre referee for Wednesday night’s (today) Dream Team VI tie against Colombia at Arena Corinthians, Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Referee Ramos would be assisted by his fellow countrymen, Torrentera Marvin and Hernanadez Miguel, as assistant referee 1 and 2, while Guatemalan Lopez Walter is assigned the role of a fourth official.
Referee Ramos has been a full international for FIFA since 2014 and had refereed some matches in CONCACAF Champions League and 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Ramos made his debut on October 28, 2006 in a Primera Division A match between Zacatepec and Santos Laguna 1a.
Checks revealed that Fernando Arce was the first player booked by Ramos, while Mariano Trujillo was the first player he sent off after booking the player twice in 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, Nigeria’s Dream Team would retain their traditional green jersey against Colombia, as against the white as earlier reported.
The tie is slated for kick off at 11pm.
