The Coach Rising Stars FC of Akure, Boye Ogunderu, on Thursday boasted of the club’s readiness for the encounter against Offa United at Offa Township Stadium, Offa on Friday.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the Rising Stars are currently topping the Nationwide League One Group C1 with 9 points from four matches.
Ogunderu told the News Agency of Nigeria that the club’s ultimate aim in Offa would be to pick up the maximum points to aid the progression and qualification of the team.
He said the major target for the team was to qualify for the Nigeria National League and that could only be possible if the team picked up points away from home.
The coach said the football agency was trying its best in terms of motivating players and staff to make the dream a reality.
He said: “My boys are ready for the encounter, I know it will be tough, but my boys are capable of executing the task at hand.’’
