The Nigerian Institute of Management on Thursday described the death on May 11, 2020 of Deputy President, Ibrahim Inuwa, as a great loss.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the late Inuwa was an Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and a former President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers.
The President and Chairman of NIM Council, Patience Anabor, in a statement to newsmen in Lagos, expressed sadness and shock at the sudden passing of Inuwa, with whom she worked closely and described as a very humble and loyal ally.
Though Inuwa was an accomplished engineer and a distinguished professional manager, Anabor went on, he never wore his success on his forehead.
She said: “He was a successful manager of men and materials, very committed to and very passionate about NIM.”
In his own tribute, NIM Registrar, Tony Fadaka, said the deceased had always displayed sterling qualities.
Fadaka said: “He was always optimistic, never short of wisdom, and very quick to understand the issues.
“The Institute will miss his professionalism as a good negotiator and ally to the Institute’s management.”
