The Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, has said that Nigerians are tired of the ruling party at the federal level and in most states of the federation, the Peoples Democratic Party.
Okorocha, who spoke with newsmen in Owerri, Imo State on Thursday, said with the need to replace the PDP, it became apparent to him that the newly-formed All Peoples Congress will provide the platform for the needed change.
The governor, who spoke against the backdrop of his decision to team up with the APC, said Nigerians deserve more than they are getting now.
Okorocha, elected on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, said: “There is need for a better change.
“Nigerians are tired of Peoples Democratic Party, which is no longer what it used to be after failing to address the needs of Nigerians.”
Okorocha promised to deliver the South East to the APC in 2015.
