The 17 Nigerian coaches and former international players in London for capacity-enhancing exercise on Wednesday visited The Hawthorns, the home ground of West Bromwich Albion Football Club, a Premier League side.
A coaching clinic organized by the Professional Football Coaches Association and League Managers’ Association took the whole day at the famous ground.
Nigerian international players, Brown Ideye and Victor Anichebe, are presently on the books of West Brom, while Nigerian legend, Nwankwo Kanu, and World Cup star, Osaze Odemwingie, also wore the colours of the Baggies.
On Thursday, the contingent will listen to a presentation by ProZone on internet/software-based scouting, to be done by ProZone Director, Shane Hall.
Two other presentations, one by Nike Academy on talent identification and potential –spotting in opposition and own team dispensation (by Jon Goodman, ex-Wimbledon FC player), and another by John Harrower (Football and Business Data Analyst of Derby County Football Club), will engage the officials also on Thursday.
