Operatives of the Department of State Service have released the Chairman of the Electoral Committee of the polls of the Nigeria Football Federation, Sampson Ebonhe.
Ebonhe was arrested on Tuesday morning in Warri, Delta State, venue of the election.
Shortly after the release of the election committee boss, some of the delegates to the election returned to the venue at Golden Tulip Hotel, Warri.
However, some of the delegates have departed the venue for their bases.
The decision was based on the arrest of Ebonhe.
As at press time, the outgoing President of the NFF, Aminu Maigari, was addressing the delegates.
