Embattled Super Eagles’ star, Emem Eduok, has been freed to return to the national team’s camp, while the Nigeria Football Federation investigates his transfer saga.
The player, who is currently a subject of tussle between Sarsborg 08 of Norway and Esperance FC of Tunisia, was recalled after the Chairman of Technical and Development Committee, Chief Felix Anyansi-Agwu, presented the report of his investigation into the controversy over the transfer of Dolphins FC of Port Harcourt player.
The report, according to a Communique signed by the Chairman of the NFF Media and Publicity Committee, Hon. Suleiman Yahaya-Kwande, was immediately referred to the Committee on Ethics and Fair Play for prompt and decisive action.
In the meantime, the player is now free to return to the national team camp.
It is however not clear if Eduok would be joining the rest of the Eagles as they battle Cote d’ Ivoire and Sudan this weekend.
Eduok was asked to quit the national team camp at the instance of the NFF President, Amaju Pinnick.
