The Nigeria Football Federation is currently studying a proposal from Belarus, which is seeking to play a friendly with the 2014 World Cup bound Super Eagles.
A competent source very close to the team disclosed that Belarus is among the three countries Nigeria is discussing with to play friendly before the World Cup.
The source said: “The Federation in conjunction with the Chief Coach (Stephen Keshi) is not resting on their oars to get quality friendly match for the Super Eagles.
“I will confide in you that we are working on three countries that could at least give the Eagles a taste of what to expect at the Brazil 2014 World Cup.
“So right now we are weighing options before us which included Belarus.
“Belarus wrote us last week and are very serious an anxious to play against the Super Eagles.
“The NFF Technical Committee, led by Barrister Christopher Green, will soon decide on the team to play.
“But like I told you, Belarus is eager to play against Nigeria.”
