The Nigeria Football Federation has disowned the purported final list of players of the Super Eagles that will feature in the African Cup of Nations that was circulated in a section of the media on Tuesday.
The NFF said the final list of players, as earlier reported by The Eagle Online, will only be available on Wednesday.
This will be after the friendly match against Cape Verde.
Super Eagles spokesman. Ben Alaiya, told The Eagle Online in a telephone interview from the team’s camp in Faro, Portugal, that the list published on Tuesday was not authentic.
This was also the position of the Head Coach of the Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi.
