The Nigeria Football Federation said on Wednesday that it had begun registering the four Nigeria Professional Football League clubs that would represent the country in the 2015 CAF Interclub competitions.
The Head, Inter-club Competitions of the NFF, Emmanuel Adesanya, told the News Agency of Nigeria in Abuja that the clubs finally submitted themselves for the exercise.
Adesanya said the football house was working hard to ensure the four clubs – Enyima FC of Aba, Kano Pillars, Dolphins and Warri Wolves – meet CAF’sDecember 30 registration deadline.
He said: “The clubs you see coming in and out of the secretariat are here to formalize and conclude their registration or participation for the 2015 CAF Interclub competitions.
“The four teams have actually reported and we are finalising their registration now.
“That is Kano Pillars, Enyimba, Warri Wolves and Dolphins.
“They did not respond on time.
“NFF had to shout on them and they have responded well.
“By the special Grace of God, the Registration Manager, Nasiru Jubril, and I, the Head of the Inter-club Competition, are on top of the job.
“As you can see, registration has gone far.
“Nigeria is not lagging behind too much and I want to assure that everything will be done properly.”
