The Federal Road Safety Corps FC of Abuja has contracted eight new players in preparation for the 2017/2018 Nigeria National League season.
Akinade Onigbinde, coach of the club told the News Agency of Nigeria on Monday in Abuja that the new players would fortify the team for a successful outing in the league.
Onigbinde said: “We are interested in fortifying our team against our opponents in the National League.
“Apart from going the extra mile in bringing in fresh legs, we are training morning and evening as part of our preparations.”
The coach said the club has set its sight on gaining promotion at the end of the season.
He expressed satisfaction with the upgrade in the number of clubs for the league, saying “it will encourage hard work and offer more clubs and players opportunity to participate”.
