Fresh off scoring his third goal in a Leicester City shirt, midfielder Wilfred Ndidi heaped praise on his team-mates for the character they showed to beat Watford.
The Nigeria international has earned plenty of plaudits for his dynamic displays since signing from Genk in January.
Ndidi, 20, has played a huge role in Leicester’s recent upturn in form, but at full-time on Saturday at King Power Stadium, he was quick to credit the whole team for their efforts.
He told LCFC TV: “If we keep going like this, we can get as many points as possible. Everybody was working together with good spirit.
“Also from the coach and the players on the bench, there’s a good spirit. Everyone is alive and trying to get these wins.
“As a team, we said that we would take every game as a final. The only thing we can do now is take as many points as we can. With more great performances, I believe we can finish in the top half.”
Forming a productive partnership with Danny Drinkwater in the centre of midfield, Ndidi says he has benefitted from his significant involvement for the Foxes.
He added: “He’s (Danny Drinkwater) a guy that tries to push me and I like those types of players around me, but also the team is behind me.
“It’s been a good experience for me and also it means I’ll get ready for the battle next season.”
