The National Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASME) has elected new officers to run the affairs of the business management origination during its annual general meeting in Abuja.
This was disclosed in a statement by Mr Mike Alade, the publicity secretary of the association, Abdulrasid Yerima emerged as president of the association, while Dr Kabir Dasuki was elected deputy president (North) and Otunba Gbemisola Oduntan deputy president (South) and Mr Okwudili Odi Nwosu came out tops as deputy president (Finance and Administration).
The position of zonal vice president (North East) went to Jubrin Aliu Tafida, while Ibrahim Dasuke Haske was voted zonal vice president (North West), and Prince Ajisefini A. Tajudeen emerged zonal vice president (North Central).
The position of zonal vice president (South East) went to Mr Ikenna Ikechukwu Okoroafor and that of zonal vice president (South West) went to Mr Solomon Aderoju.
Elder Godwin Sunday Udom was voted zonal vice president (South-South) and Muhammed Nura Bello and Nnorom Theophilus Okwuchukwu emerged private sector representatives, while the position of publicity secretary went to Mr Mike Alade.
The new NASME president, Abdulrasheed Yerima, promised to work with partners and relevant stakeholders to make NASME a top business association in the country.
