A Health Correspondent with the News Agency of Nigeria, Lagos Office, Miss Victoria Aigbirhio, is dead.
Aigbirhio died on Monday in a private hospital at Mowe, Ogun State during a brief illness.
She was aged 35.
Isaac Ighure, Head of NAN Lagos Office, who confirmed Aigbirhio’s death on Tuesday, described it as shocking.
Ighure said she was resourceful, lively, friendly, hardworking and easy going, adding: “Her death is a great loss to the agency.
“It is a painful loss but God knows best.
“Everybody is shocked to hear of her death.
“We will greatly miss her.
“Victoria was lively and loved by all members of staff.
“We pray that God will give your family members fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.”
Ighure urged the family to be strong and hold on to God in this trying period.
Godwin Aigbirhio, younger brother to the deceased, said she died around 11pm on Monday.
He said that burial arrangements would be announced soon.
