The News Agency of Nigeria on Tuesday expressed its continued readiness to partner with the management of the Leadership Newspaper to ensure the success of the organisation and for national development.
Bayo Onanuga, the Managing Director of the agency, said this when Obi Azuru, the Managing Director of the newspaper, paid him a courtesy visit at the NAN Headquarters, Abuja.
Onanuga, represented by Khadjat Lawal, the Director, Account Department of NAN, said the agency had improved its services in so many ways to satisfy its numerous clients.
According to him, NAN will continue to ensure proper coverage of happenings in the country and beyond and guarantee its good relations with all its subscribers.
Earlier, Azuru had lauded NAN for quality and steady service delivery and promised his organisation’s steady relationship with the agency.
According to Azuru, NAN is a government agency that never goes on strike.
He said: “Everyone depends on NAN and it has grown with new technology.
“So without NAN, many newspapers will not succeed.”
Also speaking, the Editor-in-Chief of the agency, Malam Zango Yusuf, commended the newspaper for its reportage of events cutting across all the strata of the society.
Yusuf appealed to the organisation not hesitate to call NAN to order “if there is need for it”.
